Kenny started the first plant market in Houston in November 2020, which later came to be known as Houston Plant Market. He moved to New York City in May 2021, but continues to run the market remotely and occasionally flies in for them. His favorite thing about the markets is seeing how much the businesses that started the markets with him have grown.

Berenice created and organized the HOU Grew It community booth for HPM, which offered awesome planty amenities for the plant community. She quickly became Kenny’s right-hand woman and now manages the market and its team.

Maritere became good friends with Bee and Kenny through the local Facebook plant groups before the markets started. When we needed some help curating our social media content, we naturally turned to this talented mother of four!

Lindsey has been vending with HPM since August 2021 and was loved by fellow vendors for always being someone who listens and makes you feel like you have her entire attention. Naturally, she was a great fit for overseeing our comms! Her favorite thing about the markets is being part of such a diverse group, meeting new people, and discovering new products.

Gresilda attends just about every plant market and brought FIRE when she saw an opportunity to join the HPM team. She owns her own business specializing in operations consulting, HR services, and brand management. The fit was perfect! Her favorite thing about the markets is the upbeat energy and scoring great finds.

Nancy first vended with us in March 2022. Despite being one of our newest vendors, she immediately saw and believed in the mission, integrity, and direction of HPM. She loves getting to know other vendors, and a position coordinating the markets on-site was a perfect match.

Gio is a professional graphic designer and started vending with us in June 2021 with planty merch and apparel that she designed herself. She’s helped us many times with creating graphic sets for markets!

Jack is a professional graphic designer and originally attended HPM in February 2022 at a time when we needed some graphic design assistance. He’s since generated some awesome template sets for us to use for our recent markets.
Richy Lyttle

Richy is possibly the biggest catalyst for HPM early on. He offered his professional photography services to us at a time when we were still growing and did not have much of an operating budget for the fancy stuff. His photos were used for graphics, advertisements, and posts for months to come. His open love for the vendors, their businesses, and the success of the market is unparalleled.
Though he may not be our current market photographer, he always holds an honorary place on our team.
